It's not too often that I get a picture of the two most important men in my life together. I love this smile on Daniel. I guess whatever my dad was saying must have been pretty funny. It's great that they get along as well as they do.
Happy Father's Day to Daniel and Dad! I hope you know how much we love you every day of the year.

Your Dan has an awesome smile! :-)
He sure does. I wish we saw that huge grin more often!
I love those rare pictures of the loves of our lives together.
Enjoy them,
elena
Karen...your man is handsome...
Elena: I think I am going to have to look for more opportunities when I have my camera out. I didn't realize how cool that was until I went searching for this picture to post this morning.
Pam: Thank you. I think so, too!
It is good to take a moment and realize how fortunate we are to have the family we have. This is such a beautiful post, and I hope you guys had a great day!
Thanks Sarah. I am very lucky to have many moments to share with my family. This picture was actually taken in October, but we have many days just like the picture. We're very blessed that way. This year we got to spend two days celebrating Father's Day. Saturday we made dinner for my dad and spent the evening with him because he had to work Sunday. Yesterday my girls and I celebrated by letting my husband sleep in, then we did whatever he wanted, which was to sit around and watch TV with all four of us just chilling at home. It was great!
It's everything to have the important people in our lives together and happy! Hope your day was a happy one. I read your reply to a poster and have to tell you...that we did the same thing! LOL!Actually, I made a big lunch (his choices) and then, for a change, my son and I were dressed and ready to go shopping for a present(hubby always prefers to choose his own present). But hubby was snoring away. He said that it would be nicest present if we could let him sleep!LOL! So we did and had a TV and pizza dinner.
Anne: I think sometimes we forget that we live in a rush, rush, rush world. Sleeping in and relaxing isn't something that happens too often (at lest not in our house). That CAN be a great gift. The gift of time together and the time to get recharged for the busy week ahead. I'm glad you had a great day watching TV and eating pizza!
