Day 03- A picture of you and your friends
As I prepared for this post I realized I don't have many pictures of me with my friends. To be honest, I don't have many pictures of me in general. The pictures I DO have of me with my friends are all fun, though. I guess it's safe to say that when we get together we have a great time!
This is Dan, Mira, and me (in that order). Yep, this is the same Dan and Mira that I mentioned in Day 5 of the 30 Day Music Challenge. On this occasion we were at Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek, Arizona. It's a local farm, but it's sort of like an amusement park as well. Our families headed out to Schnepf Farms to celebrate fall and our friendship.
In October the farm has a pumpkin and chili festival. The have a corn maze, carnival rides, pig races, and more. This particular picture was taken at the pig races. Dan had been called up to be a part of the act before hand. We were just being a little goofy before the actual races started. I don't get silly too often, but this day I was having a blast!

Karen, you all look like you're having fun! I got a visual of a pig race...sounds hilarious!
Thanks Anne. We WERE having fun! The pig races are as hilarious as you would think. They run on a little race track with lanes, and the races are very short. They might last a minute or so. Each pig wears a different color, so everyone can cheer for their favorite. It really is a great time.
That was a good time! We should do it again this year, if you'll be up for it, that is.
That would be great Mira. We'll definitely have to see how I feel, but it would be a great way to celebrate my birthday if I'm up to it this year. That will give me something to look forward to for sure!
Wow, I didn't even realize they had this event. My kids and I were just at Schnepf Farms 2 weekends ago picking peaches and veggies. I love it there!
Oh, definitely check out the Pumpkin and Chili festival in October! Bring lots of money, though. It does get a little pricey. Plan on spending a good four hours, at least, to see and do everything. We spent an hour just eating and watching the live music. It is worth the money!
I'm never in pictures because I'm always the one taking them! :-)

Mama Chocolate: I know what you mean about the pictures! This Easter I handed the camera to my husband and told him to take the pictures. While I love having them, I think we miss out on a lot when we are behind the camera all the time. It was fun to just enjoy my kiddos and see all the different expressions on their faces.
