I don't know where my days have gone this week, but I haven't gotten much blog surfing done. I don't have a whole lot to share with you, but here are a couple of great blog posts I came across. I hope you find something interesting in here to read!
Marriage is a constant choice: We hear it from the experts all the time, and deep down we all know it. This blog post just spoke to me, though, and was a nice reminder.
Energy and Sports Drinks for your Tween?: This was a hot topic in Bloggy Land this week. My friend Paula over at The Tween & Me wrote a great blog post laying out the controversy. I STILL can't figure out why anyone would have thought energy drinks were GOOD for kids. *Shaking my head.* I'm not quite sure why we needed the AAP to tell us that.

My favorite from my blog this week was a part of a special day. Each year people come together and post in support of the LGBT community. Not everyone who writes is gay (as I am not), but each post is something that will bring awareness to the idea that these families deserve support as much as any other. My post, Blogging for LGBT Families, tells the story of a classroom experience I had and how words DO matter. This post inspired Pam to write about scribbling outside the box, which sparked an incredible on-line discussion. Now THIS is what blogging is all about to me!
