I give up on this book. I wish I could give it less than one star. I have absolutely NO respect for a teacher who would look the other way during an emergency drill when students tell her they are going to leave campus. A teacher's job is to PROTECT students, not to let them run rampant. This teacher is clearly too immature to be teaching high school. She should have taken the clue when her students said she was being too lenient. They were looking for support and guidance. Am I being harsh on this teacher? Absolutely, and justifiably so. In my opinion, this is what is wrong with education today. Our students, no matter the educational environment they are forced to learn in, deserve more from our teachers today.
