Since "Water for Elephants" is the closet book to me right now, I'm going to use it. I am really enjoying this book. If you are interested, check out my Book Beginnings post to read the first line of the book and some of my thoughts. Keep an eye on my blog, too, for a full review and a book giveaway!

I sure would like to know what. I don't have the book, but I did download the film, I can't wait to see it. I am thinking I will wait until after I read the book though.
Thanks for participating.

Okay, I'll play even though this book is a reference, self-help book instead of a novel. Not sure that it matters, but this sentence is odd.

From Wordpress for Dummies:
"You KNOW you have spent way too much time on the Internet lately when you pick up a reference book and your first instinct tells you to find the search box and enter your keyword, rather than open up the index to find the specific information you're looking for."

And yes, I do think I've spent too much time on the Internet because I haven't read a novel in waayyy too long!! :)

(some great short stories, but no novels!)

Oh, fredamans... I would wait to read the book first, but I always do that. Even if the movie is great, it stills ruins a book for me. For some reason it doesn't work the same the opposite way, though.

Thanks for coming by and commenting. Have a great weekend!

Don't know about the book but think that it is fun!

So, I just grab the book
~ How Starbucks Saved by Life by Michael Gill, turned to page 56
and found the following sentence:
"The human catalysts for dreamers are the teachers and encouragers that dreamers encounter throughout their lives."

Isn't it true?

Hope I am not out of topic with this comment!

LionGirl, I love that sentence! Being a teacher myself, I agree that teachers and people who encourage others are definitely catalysts. Thanks for sharing!

You said we could pull off any book on our shelf, so I grabbed one of my favorites -- Anne of Green Gables, by Lucy Maud Montgomery..

"Anne had made good use of every waking moment of that fortnight."

Love that girl!!

Linda, I've never read that book, but Anne sounds like a good person. It's a great quality to make good use of your time. Thanks for sharing!
