Day 08 - A picture that makes you laugh

This is my mom and dad on my 35th birthday. My mom is so fun and had a great party for me. Mom decorated her house with Madagascar decorations. My favorite animal is a giraffe, so we had plates, hats, and tablecloths with the animals from the movie on them. When we first pulled up there was even a banner in the driveway that said, "Happy Birthday!" The party was just my mom and dad, my girls, husband, and me, but it was a lot of fun. My mom even had party games out to match the decorations. My husband hung his decoration from his hat on the bathroom door, and it stayed there for at least a year. I got a bunch of gifts for my future classroom, including the entire set of stuffed characters from the movie "Where the Wild Things Are." I love how my family keeps life fun and we don't get too serious.
