30 Day Photo Challenge- Day 10

Day 10 - A picture of the person you do the most things with

I didn't like the original challenge, so I deleted a few words from it and made it my own.

This is a picture of my husband, Daniel. He really is the person I do the most with. We do a lot together. We work out, we hang out, and we raise a family together. On the weekends we do errands and play with the girls, we watch movies, and we spend time with my parents During the week we hit the gym and watch TV after having dinner. Sometimes I go to work with Daniel, and since we own a business together we also have to have "business meetings" when needed.

I chose this picture of Daniel because it is a perfect example of how he encourages to spread my wings and try new things. This is at the shooting range in Payson. In 2009 when we went up to visit his parents, we all went shooting. Although I had thought I wanted to do this for years, when it came down to it I was terrified. Daniel walked me through the process, starting back at the house when everyone helped load the clips. When it came time to actually fire a gun, I took one shot, put the gun down, and walked away. I spent the rest of the time in the car waiting for everyone else to be done shooting. Thank goodness I always carry a book with me!

The shooting may not have been an activity I fell in love with, but Daniel has gotten me to try many things that did work out. Running is one of them. I spent months walking on the treadmill at the gym. With Daniel's encouragement and guidance I finally starting running. I also started lifting weights, finding that to be an activity I enjoy. Most recently we tried rowing together. I am looking forward to doing more of that soon.

It really is great to be married to my best friend. Sure, we have our arguments, but who doesn't disagree with their best friend once in awhile? In just a couple of months we will celebrate our 11 year wedding anniversary. I can't wait to see what kind of experiences we will share over the next 11 years.
