Between

Thought Questions

To tell the truth there is nothing I want in life that I don't already have.  Except for ONE thing.  The ONLY thing I want right now is a job offer.  What stands in my way?  Time.  I am confident I am going to get a job.  With the number of interviews I've been on I'd better.  I'll really feel terrible about myself if I don't get an offer SOMEWHERE!  So, for now it's all about patience, something I don't have a whole lot of lately.  Apparently this is a lesson I need to learn.  Okay, Universe, I get it!  I'll slow down and wait for you to catch up.

It is hard to wait and wonder when the right offer will come along. Great for having all the interviews too! Hoping you hear something soon!

Believe Karen - it will come (probably when you least expect it)

Betty, it IS hard to wait. I've always been the type of person that when something needs to be done I tackle it NOW. It's not that I'm impatient necessarily, but I don't like having loose ends.

Fi, I do believe. It's the waiting part that is tough! ;-)

I hope you get a job offer soon!

Thanks Shell. I hope so, too! Not being sure that I can help support my family is really stressful.

Good luck and stay positive. Sounds like you are, and that's good!

I'm trying to stay positive Carolyn. This job hunting experience is draining. I will do my best to keep my chin up, though! Thanks for stopping by.

I am in the same boat as you. I found out on the last day of school that my position was not going to be available in the fall. This made me mad for several reasons, the biggest being that the principal waited until 30 min before school was over for the year to tell me. Not professional in my book. Anywho I've been interviewing and trying for anything, even outside of teaching, and I'm hoping for something soon as well. Good luck!

Stopping by from Shell's PYHO!

Wow, Julie, what a blow. I am so sorry that you found out so late about your position. At least I had two weeks of school left when I found out. Good luck on your job search. I'm sending you positive thoughts to find something awesome!

I hoping something comes soon. I remember searching and searching for a teaching job. It seemed to take forever to find one.

JDaniel4's Mom, it sure does seem to be taking forever. I'm confident something will come along in time. I hope so anyway!

Adrienne, thank you. Waiting IS hard!

Good luck, keep up with the positive attitude! I'm sure something will come your way soon.

Thanks Tiffany. I have another interview scheduled for tomorrow, and the principal who I interviewed with today said he would make his decision by the end of the week. I'm hoping for positive news!
