One of my favorite hobbies is creative writing. Interestingly, though, writing is not something I can force myself to do. It is really something that has to be inspired. I've noticed that it's also something that doesn't happen for me when life is hectic. My best creative writing comes in the moments where life is quiet and almost boring.
When I was sick enough that every day was spent on the couch I did a lot of writing. Short stories are fun, and I tend to write all in one sitting. In those moments the story just rushes out. You can find some of my favorites by clicking here. Enjoy!

Ironic that, I write more when life is chaotic and frantic
Fi, I write on my blog when life is chaotic, but I can't seem to come up with a fictional piece during that time. I think I have to let go of whatever is causing life to be crazy first.
If I'm crazy busy I have even a hard time writing for the blog some days. I just can't seem to get my mind together and put anything down.
Susi, I definitely don't get to write on my blog as much as I used to anymore. When life gets crazy I just can't find the time, but I do understand not getting your mind together. It's like being pulled in too many directions at once.
