Super Bowl or Reading?

I'm joining Should Be Reading for Musing Mondays.  Sorry this is a little late!

This week’s musing asks…

Did you do any reading in lieu of watching the football game Sunday or were you foregoing reading to watch the game? If you read a book (or books) what did you choose?

I actually didn't read OR watch the Super Bowl on Sunday.  Instead, my family went to my mom and dad's house and had a blast playing Wii Sports Resort.  After playing our Wii during the Christmas season, Mom and Dad decided they wanted one as well.  It is so fun to play with my parents and daughters!


I did come home and read, though.  I just started "Matched" by Ally Condie.  My students have been reading this book, one after the other, so I thought I would figure out what all the fuss is about.  It's a pretty good book and I love being able to talk with my students about something they enjoy.  "Matched" is part of a trilogy, and I will definitely be checking out the rest of the books in the series.
