I have had pain since I was in my first car accident when I was 16-years-old. I have NEVER felt pain the way I have in the last year, though. I'm sorry for yet another post on this goofy disease, but I wanted to share this image.
These six areas are just of the few places I regularly feel intense pain. Interestingly, one of my acquaintances posted this on a chronic pain group I belong to, and I realized I truly am NOT alone. The pain in the upper leg is what really got me. There have been times I've said I feel like my pain is in my bone- not the muscle and not the joint. Even the doctors looked at me like I was nuts. Apparently I'm not the only one who has reported this symptom!
This is great news. If I'm not alone that means there are others out there with whatever this problem is and I am not an alien with some unknown and strange disorder. The doctors may not be able to figure out (yet) what this problem is, but if there are many patients SOMEONE has got to be working on finding answers!
