Dragonfly Soaps Review/ Giveaway

This giveaway has now ended. Thank you! Please read about the wonderful Dragonfly Soaps, though, and be sure to visit their website.

WOW! I'm so glad I have been made aware of Dragon Fly's Soaps! I would love to try the 60's Vanilla, the Oatmeal Almond and the Unscented please

Winner #2: latanya said...

I like mango rose, patchouli lavendar, and one summer night.

Wow! My first impression of Dragonfly Soaps was terrific. I am really excited about working with this company, and I think you will love them, too.

From the moment I contacted Dragonfly Soaps to offer a review of their products, I was pleased with the communication. This is a company that truly wants to offer customer service and attention. They got back to me quickly (almost immediately) and were super nice. I can only imagine that ordering would be even more easy as a "regular" customer. Trust me, once you try these soaps you WILL become a regular!

Before I knew it the soap had arrived in the mail. I opened the package and was very excited to see the packaging on the soap. Each bar was wrapped with a cream tissue paper, and inside there was a band with the name of the soap and a description of the ingredients. This soap, with this presentation, would be PERFECT for a gift basket or care package. I could imagine a friend coming home for a hospital stay, for example, to a pretty basket filled with bath items and Dragonfly Soaps.

I got to pick two scents for my review, and I wanted to pick two that seemed to be on opposite ends of the spectrum- one a little girly, the other on the manly side. I picked Peppermint Ice and Forest Floor. I took one bar of soap and put it at the kitchen sink, the other in the bathroom. I asked my family to use the soaps, as well as myself, and let me know what they thought. The comments were all very positive. It's a slam dunk. Our family loves Dragonfly Soaps.

Here are some of the benefits we noticed: Our hands are nice and soft after using these soaps. I don't feel like I need to put hand lotion on after every use. The bars seem to be lasting a long time. Being a new product that we are trying out, I think we tend to wash our hands a little more often than usual right now. Both bars seem almost brand new, even after close to a week of use. What I really like is that the bar will allow for some lather, but there are not soap suds everywhere. No matter how hard my girls try, they just can't seem to make a mess like they do with the liquid soaps. The soap washes off nicely, without leaving behind a film. The bars also fit nicely into your hand, so it could be used in the shower nicely.

My husband noticed another wonderful benefit. He was enjoying how fresh the bathroom smells. The scent lingers in the bathroom, and we can definitely tell when someone has washed their hands. What this soap DOESN'T do, however, is leave a trail of scent wherever the user travels. Some scented soaps leave a person smelling like they just rolled in cologne. Not these ones! If you get close up to someone who has used the soap, you can smell it, but it is not overpowering and does not scream, "Smell me, smell me" wherever you go.

Dragonfly Soaps also have an Unscented Line in case you have allergies or other special needs. Please visit Dragonfly Soaps to learn more about their process and products. I think you'll be quite impressed, too!

Here's the really great news: Dragonfly Soaps is generously giving two, that's right TWO lucky readers three bars of soap each. A total of six bars of soap are being given away. Thank you Dragonfly Soaps!

To enter, please visit Dragonfly Soaps and tell me which three bars you would choose. Be sure to leave your email address in the comment so I can contact you if you win!

This contest open to U.S. residents only. Winners will be chosen via Random.org after the closing of the giveaway on Sunday, May 29th at 8:00 PM Arizona time. If a winner is not able to be contacted for any reason, I will pull an alternate.

Additional entry: Tell me which of my other blog posts is your favorite and why. This entry cannot be done until the above entry is complete.

Good luck!

I appreciate your article "Tell us something good" It's always better to focus on the positive. You can tell you really love your kids and they are trying. Perfect grades are not what's important it's the effort and the learning experience that matters. They all learn differently and at their own pace.

The soaps that sound great to me are: peppermint ice, tangerine moisturizer and bay rum

...and the post I loved from you was your Love a Tree Day post. I enjoy climbing trees and my kids love to climb trees too, so it was a post that hit close to home for me :)

Love the One Summer Night, for its name, winter spice - likewise and it looks attractively swirly, and garden lavender. It's a shame I can's smell these soaps, but with this one the name helps!

I liked your feeling beachy blog post. You mentioned that you used to play school as a kid and now you've graduated with a teaching degree. I am the exact same way. I played school all the time! I now have an elementary and special ed degree. Although, i don't plan on being a classroom teacher. I am hoping to become an itinerant teacher for the visually impaired!
